IT STARTED ON A STRAWBERRY FARM

Not only is that where the name came from, but also a lot of life lessons.

You see, my family farm is small compared to our neighbors.

Without the ability to grow acres and acres of grain, which is much more common in Indiana, we had to get creative and work with what we have.

So, nearly forty years ago, my parents started growing strawberries and opened our farm up for families to come pick.

Fast forward, to a time in my life when I felt like I was wandering around in a valley - much like the hills and valleys on our farm.

My husband and I were longing for a family but walking through the heartbreaking journey of infertility.

Life felt like an empty field that just wouldn't grow.

I remembered the many lessons from our family farm and the value of every season.

While I desperately wanted our season of waiting to end, I had to figure out how to keep going.

That's where the idea for The Strawberry Lane began.

THE STRAWBERRY LANE TOOK ROOT

I've always loved making jewelry and I needed a creative outlet to shift my focus beyond our circumstances.

So I set out to create meaningful jewelry that offered little reminders of God's faithfulness through every season.

I started with a simple mountain necklace as a reminder of His sovereignty over the mountains and valleys of life.

Over time, the shop has grown to include pieces to celebrate special moments, honor loss and offer encouragement.

These days, the shop is filled with timeless jewelry to tell your story and carry memories close to your heart.

Speaking of stories, the story of The Strawberry Lane is still being written and I'm excited to bring you along!
